Fingerprinting Services Outside Canada

  • If you are living outside of Canada and you have been asked to provide Certified Criminal Record from RCMP, Please contact us to help you.
  • We will Digitize Ink or electronic fingerprints and submit them electronically to RCMP
  • The results will be forwarded by RCMP to the individual or his/ her authorized person

 

Follow the below procedure:

  1. Fingerprints are captured on RCMP form C216C (to obtain this form from Canadian Embassy/ Consulate) or FBI Card FD 258.

2. Contact the nearest police Office in your City/ Province/ Country which offers fingerprinting services.

Fingerprint forms will be accepted from foreign countries that contain the following:

  • Rolled and flat impressions of all ten fingers taken with black ink
  • Full name, date of birth and sex of the applicant
  • The name and address of the police agency
  • The signature and seal of the Police Official taking the fingerprints

 

Clearly state the reason for your certified criminal record check:

  • Adoptions – Canadian and International
  • Foreign travel – Visas, U.S. Waivers, Border Crossing
  • Employment (specify the job title and the name of the business/organization not using abbreviations)– federal, provincial, municipal governments; private industry; Canadian police agencies
  • Volunteer work (specify the job title and the name of the organization)
  • Applications for immigration to Canada
  • Applications for Canadian Citizenship
  • Applications to obtain criminal record to apply for a Record suspension
  • Name change
  • Permanent residency in foreign countries

 

Courier to our office following documents/ information along with RCMP form C216C/ FBI Card FD 258 and We will Digitize Ink or electronic fingerprints and submit them electronically to RCMP.

      1. Notarised Photocopy of 2 Pieces of valid government-issued IDs
      2. Provide information on separate sheet:

a.         Height (Ft/cm)

b.         Weight (Lbs/Kg)

c.         Color of eyes

d.         Color of hair

e.         Complete address

f.         Phone number.

g.         Name, address, and phone number of person taking fingerprints

h.         Reason for fingerprinting.

We are following the Public Health Guidelines on Social Distancing. Please note for RCMP Accredited Fingerprints and Notary Public Services INCLUDING Commissioner of Oath, following procedure will be followed and we expect everyone to abide by these steps.

  1. Hours of operation from Monday to Friday 10.00 AM to 3.00 PM

2. No Walk in Service is available. 

3. Please call for appointment @ 905 290 7205 or send an email to pawan@novelnotarypublic.ca with your contact number. We will try to reach you ASAP

4. Please explain in detail to us on phone your purpose to visit our office.

5. We will guide you the procedure to be followed, what are Government issued valid Identifications, fee for fingerprints, etc.

6. For your appointment, only the person whose fingerprints are required or who is signing the document for notarization or commissioning only to visit our office.

7. No more then ONE PERSON at a time. If you are spouses together or more than one person is required to attend our office, please visit one by one. We will ensure that at least a distance of 2 meters or 6 feet between two persons is STRICLY complied with.

8. When you arrive for your appointment, before heading to our office please call us @ 905 290 7205 or 416 903 8696 while remaining seated in your car. The building is locked, and you cannot get into the Building until we provide you access. Please do not try to get into the building by yourself without our authorization. This is for your safety.

9. Please wash your hands with soap before and after your appointment at our offices. 

10. It has now become our office policy to frequently sanitizing and disinfecting all surfaces that are used the most at our offices including desks, chairs, debit machines/ POS system, fingerprint scanner, doorknobs after servicing each client. 

11.We expect your cooperation with patience. As the cases of COVID-19, increases  in Canada and around the world, we are closely monitoring the situation and  continue to implement precautionary measures and best practices  recommended by municipal, provincial and federal authorities to ensure the safety and health of our people, families, clients and our community.
